Medical Records and Farmacia Recordings was conceived by Sydney B. Lanex and is operated by a collective of independent label veterans who developed a cure for the ailing music industry that term itself having become as outdated as cassette tapes and compact discs.

Music and the consumer demand for it, has not decreased over the years. Outdated systems, pricing, lack of artist development and poor content can be blamed for the decrease in sales. The old school record biz has finally been recognized as an unhealthy fast food substitution by corporate marketing departments. This system is severely outdated and no longer necessary in a twenty first century world, which offers a wide variety of marketing opportunities and alternative revenue streams.
